MENTAL HEALTH RESEARCH & ENGAGEMENT FOR NHS CCGS

Supporting your CAMHS Transformation

Kate Carney, Director of STITCH Ltd a Research and Marketing agency in Crewe, Cheshire knows that engagement is vital when you’re re-shaping and re-designing services. You need to understand what the audiences think, feel, know, say and do before you can really design and deliver a service that will work for them.

Throughout 2016 STITCH Ltd worked with CCG’s and Local Authorities across Cheshire to help them understand the mental health experiences and expectations of young people across their area.

We ran service user workshops, interviews, focus groups, school sessions, street team engagement sessions and reviewed social media activity to build a clear picture of non-service user and service users thoughts, feelings, experiences and expectations.

The findings of our research combined with close-knit consultancy with the commissioners has gone on to shape the CAMHS transformation, support the implementation of iTHRIVE and development of the regional Emotionally Healthy Schools programme.
